Providity Agent Readiness Check

Agent Readiness Check by Providity, for Salesforce orgs

Is your Salesforce org ready for agent registration?

Salesforce is going to ask every AI agent that touches your org to register with its own identity, and agent traffic will get its own line on the bill. This check takes about three minutes. It tells you which deadline applies to you, where your gaps are, and what you can start before Salesforce ships the change.

There's no login, and nothing connects to your org. You answer ten questions, and we keep your answers for 90 days so your result link keeps working.

01What connects to your org

Which AI tools connect to your Salesforce org today?

Count anything that reads or writes your Salesforce data: an assistant with a Salesforce connector, an agent, a Slack app, or the AI coding tools your developers use. Pick every one that applies.

How to find this

In Setup, the Connected Apps OAuth Usage and External Client Apps OAuth Usage pages list every app with access to your org, and how many people authorized each one. Then ask your team about assistants and coding tools they connected themselves.

Does anyone connect to your org through a Salesforce MCP server?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is how most AI assistants plug into business systems. A Salesforce MCP server is the piece that lets them reach your org.

How to find this

Ask the developers and admins who connect AI tools. The OAuth usage pages in Setup also list the apps an MCP server would use to sign in.

Under whose login do those tools connect?

If you've got more than one, pick the answer that fits the one you're least sure about.

How to find this

In Setup, open Login History and filter a list view by Application or Login Type. It shows which user each app signs in as.

02Your Salesforce contract

When did you first buy Salesforce?

Salesforce gives customers who bought on or after September 17, 2026 a shorter deadline.

How to find this

Your first order form has the date. The Your Account app in Salesforce lists your contracts too.

For most existing customers, this date is the deadline.

How to find this

Open the Your Account app from the App Launcher and choose View your Contracts. It shows your renewal date. You need the Manage Billing permission.

Is your org on Flex Credits or Salesforce Foundations yet?

Agent usage bills in Flex Credits, so this is the first step. Salesforce lists Foundations as a no-cost way to get there.

How to find this

Search the App Launcher for Digital Wallet. It shows the consumption-based products on your contract. Your Salesforce account team can confirm Flex Credits and Foundations.

03Who owns it, and how big it is

Is someone named to approve what an integration can see?
How to find this

Ask whoever approves a new connected app today. That's often the Salesforce admin or the security team.

Do you know how many API calls these tools make in a month?
How to find this

In Setup, the System Overview page shows your API usage. For daily counts, the Event Log File Browser has an API Total Usage file, kept for 24 hours unless you have Event Monitoring.

How many production Salesforce orgs do you run?
How to find this

Your Salesforce admin or account team will know.

Do any of them hold regulated data, like health, financial or student records?
